Everything? The planet are better in K1. The endings as LS or DS are also better since you get different endings. Whereas in K2 the endings are the same regardless of your moral choices (you have to kill Kreia in both). The only good thing about 2 is the powers are better. But Odsidian cant make Star Wars games. I don't disagree but KOTOR 2 was clumsy. It compares favorably to most videogames by virtue of everything else mostly not even getting to the starting line, but the integration of the ideas they were trying to work with were too hamfisted and inelegant for me. I think people who appreciated it were mostly very unfamiliar with the subject matter going in, and novelty was doing most of the work. The one-sided lecturing and shoehorned contrivances are more difficult to look past if you already know what's up.
