Game ideas thread
Vampire the Masquerade RPG set in cold war 1986 Berlin with early techno and punk graffiti filled nightclubs

the camarilla and sabbat are both posing as NATO and Soviet spies and you're caught in the middle of it by being embraced, you're forced to choose your own side while also being in the west and east side of Berlin

bad game, because i would never side with dirty commies and thus making the game unreplayable

Merchant simulator so to speak.
Set in the colonial era, set sail, buy products, sell in EU, establish trading companies. Basically vic3 but way more micro intensive and in depth

You aren't siding with the humans just you and the other vampires are using the cold war espionage as a proxy for the masquerade war. Also I'd add Damsel in the game

Taking influence from games like Shenmue and Majoras Mask but also Telltale style games as well, you play as a detective investigating a serial killer, every 3 days you must find the critical piece needed for the next breakthrough in the case or things will be reset to the beginning of those 3 day. Along the way you can make several decisions about other story elements usually unrelated to the investigation. You have an open city to explore and people have a set schedule for the week, you investigate and try manage it along with other problems that arise such as family and friends and police politics.

VtM should really try to take more advantage of different time eras, considering that vampires are practically immortal. Seems to be too many entries set in modern times.

Redemption's idea of starting in the middle ages and then shifting into a 90's setting was fucking kino. This premise but fleshed out with more characters that you meet in both eras should be explored more.

what would each clan be doing in this era?
