Which VN do you suggest that is chaotic and clearly improvised? I was rereading the first Dragon Ball mangas, and it was clear that the author was just doing whatever he thought was funny at the time without planning anything. I wanted a VN with the same spirit, where you see the characters getting into trouble and there is a lot of sexy perversion along the way.

Why aren't all visual novels made to be playable on tabs/smartphones? Everyone has one, the payment system is already there and it's much comfier to play on a tab than on PC.

visual novels were popularized in the 90s japanese home pc market, which was an incredibly niche market in japan at the time (in fact pcs remained fairly niche in japan until fairly recently).

i think they do work well on tablets but i'm more frequently on a computer so it works for me at least.

If you had a recliner modded out to be also high enough to perfectly align your arms with your desktop, in an air conditioned room, with a fuckhuge monitor, you wouldn't want to play VNs anywhere else.
That said, I think renpy lets you port stuff easily so tablets, so maybe some of the less terrible WEG shit might let you do that.

I like VNs because they're easy to translate. I just look at the scene, make random shit up, and then iterate until it sort of makes sense. I can't even read Japanese.
