I first tried to play it on my 750ti but gave up because it was a broken mess at the time.
So I gave up, now I have a 4060 laptop and I'm trying to play it again.
But it's just bad!

Yeah, it's a shit game on multiple levels that was unfortunately given a second wind by the cartoon

I'm playing this right now and am enjoying it, but the quest design is a bit of a let down. I pretty much never have any choices, and there's usually nothing interesting about the sidequests like in witcher 3. The exception to that is the quest Sinnerman, which is easy to fuck up and miss. It's well-written and has a neat hook, but in the end there's basically not much in the way of choosing how it goes except around the edges. The game is also crazy with the LOD and it feels like it is being built right in front of you even on the highest settings. I'd much rather have worse graphics than that.

how so? What is so ambitious about the game? The far cry combat? The dogshit city with no interactions? The brain dead NPCs with no reactions and proactions? The linear story with shitty dialogue choices where you mostly just sit and listen to an NPC yap for 5 minutes? The terrible police system (even now in 2.3)? Its not too bad, but the constant handholding and the barrage of calls from these big names I don't give a shit about kinda ruin the immersion. Its a damn shame because there's some very few areas that the gane is actually cool but nobody would give a fuck to go out and look for them.

The game's problem is the open world. Main story + Johnny's missions + sidemissions of whichever characters you care about is the way to play it. The open world guff is repetitive and drags the whole experience down.
