I just don't know how to time it reliably so I panick dodge it and hope I took Improved Dodges once during the run. If not I usually eat it tbqh which is why I ALWAYS ltake all the fire res and affinity damage res I can find.

Nope, tried like ten times with randoms and every group was too shit for us to get even halfway through the fight. It's incredibly depressing to see all those people get perfect gear while I was getting nothing but increased spell durations on non-casters or guarding increases poise passives and then getting into the fight and seeing them go down twice before we even get out of the initial split phase.

Had my first attempt this sunday, 2 Wylders and me as Executor, 1 Wylder left at the very start, maybe DC'd, just followed the other Wylder till the end, I think we got 5 evergaols. Beat Gladius first try.

nightreign is pretty easy, kinda has to be to counter bad rng runs
i hate rougelikes to fucking much but my love of souls keeps me coming back at least once a week to kill the new boss

only designs i didnt like was augur (2 shot, didnt realize charging gave back FP first run) because giant gimmick makes your character build choices uselss and libra's (3 shot, bad rng boss moves/random's class choices/and shit gear for my character first 2 times) RNG npc choice can range from pushover to retarded-level defenseive (bird and/or raider with shields they never drop) so you cant kill them in time before other rng attacks and/or another rng wave spawns and kills you with chip damage

i hope they add some more fucking maps in like soon or this shit is dead in the water

It's pretty easy with holy damage incantations, but staggeringly difficult to even hit him at all with just normal weapons, which also do terrible damage compared to holy.
Many of his hitboxes are also literally invisible

I just wish we could reroll buffs. It's so fucking dumb to be playing a melee focused character and then multiple drops only give you caster buffs.

There are on average 15k more people on Nightreign compared to MH Milds.
Let’s not forget that MH Milds was supposed to be Crapcum’s new flagship game.
Meanwhile, Nightreign is a silly little experiment, a spinoff with 1/10th of the budget of MH Milds, and From’s first attempt at a coop focused game (that also happens to get new content far quicker than Milds)
It’s fair to say it’s a massive success, all things considered.

I didn't like elden ring so I did not buy nightreign. When the games were slower I liked them more. The fast paced roll 20 times attack once gameplay is not what I'm looking for.

This is how many attempts each everdark took me (Played with 2 other players). Is gladius actually this hard or do I just suck? He feels like the hardest everdark to me, but it's possible we just got lucky on libra because I've heard people get stuck on him for days

Nothing in Nightreign felt more bullshit than the extremes of Elden Ring. Ok, maybe multiplayer ED Libra because you can basically softlock the fight unless you stall forever, but that’s it. I’d rather fight all of these nightlords then most of the SOTE bosses any day of the week.

Yes I beat Everdark Gladius with revenant and two randoms on Saturday. Took me 2 days to beat the boss.

Yes, finally did it in a threesome after like 5 total attempts. Did another 2 attempts since and got very close but still died. The damage is overtuned simple as. Especially because of the frequency of his attacks and the occurrence of combos when it is split (fire sneeze stagger into unavoidable second dog bite attack).

It's a delayed aoe just like his 3 part sword sweep fire attacks. It's not very difficult to dodge. Similar to libras fuck you circles.
