I enjoy objective based modes, I do well in both TDM and objective based modes but I definitely prefer the latter, I need to have a goal beyond just killing people be it capture the flag, defend the point, etc.

You join in halfway through the match, click some heads, leave early, nobody cares about the score, minimal teamwork, zero stress, pure relaxation. Doom (2016) could have been a good game but it wasn't. Downgraded. Short. Didn't go anywhere, story insufficient.

Doom 3 has some good designs, looks good, worth playing the start. Action insufficient. Longer where things seem strange would have given it substance. Guns overpowered might have made it better. Abundant ammo, waste it shooting shadows, see something or nothing. Safe. Don't and certain there was something there. Lurks until others are possible to have greater chance. More interaction with people, appreciable people could have taken it somewhere. Something to live for or progress to.

Bodycount is OK, I got stuck at it's ending, may be a problem with the engine or I just didn't see how to progress, or my idea of how to, and looking for it wasn't what the devs though of or intended.

Unreal Tournament 3/2007 looked great for the time. Could have been great with a story, but make your own explanation is better than a bad one. One aimed at being understood would have been insufficient and degraded what it adorned.

Far Cry 2 great too. Could have been better with towns and less downgrades. Later games in the have that, but aren't serious. They're parody and apologetic. Enemy to reality making it nothing. Or worse, corruption dominant and administrative. Stupidity sold as sentimentality. And scum sold as player characters/heroes.
