The young link sections ruined the game for me. If you played as adult link the entire game it would've been a 9/10 game.

I still prefer OoT, it has a better pacing, better characters, better atmosphere and there's beauty in simplicity. I find it much more replayable, must have played through TP 4 times across all platforms, but I replay OoT on N64 almost every year and not out of some tradition or nostalgia, being a Playstation kid I discovered the game pretty late, I just get the itch to.

I've always thought of myself as a Zelda Enjoyer, but I recently realized the newest Zelda games I've played are Minish Cap and Wind Waker. I tried to play Twilight Princess and I was filtered by the asshole-ugly characters immediately. I don't care enough to try anything newer.

TP has characters with actual development and a setting with tons of world building. Also it's paced rather well for how epic the game is. I dont even think OoT has an atmosphere, it's really bland.
