Currently, wuthering waves without a doubt.
It feels like gachashit as a whole is approaching a turning point where devs are going to start trying to make actual games instead of gachas pretending to be actual games so that might change within the year. But for now, wuthering waves.

I don't have anything really against the bosses designed around Miasma, but slapping it on old shit like Shadow Jane does finally feel like stat/HP creep. I'm starting to burn out on this game.

Limbus.
The only reason it's not bigger is because cutscenes are VN style and not animated. Also no Dorm system and whatever.
I'm far more happy with the story and content in Limbus than I am with things like GFL2 and it's actually embarassing that a 50 man company of sandwich shop workers is styling on a 400 man company in both gameplay effort and story. I really wanted to like Exilium, but they're pumping out AI background art whereas these fucking weirdos are putting out harder and more innovative designs that are balanced better and has real difficulty that's not just raw DPS output.

Woke up and rushed back to work after not uploading for over two weeks on both of my accounts—finally excited to introduce the comic I’ve been working on for days, featuring McQueen and her trainer—only to have this happen right after, on my SFW account.

I’m done dealing with this series, its policing community, and most of all, the hypocrisy of Cygames. I can’t believe even safe-for-work content is being taken down. I’m not here to point fingers, and I don’t think it’s simply because the artwork removed was hetero—but the irony that yuri content is allowed while hetero isn’t is absurd beyond reason. (Especially since I actually planned to draw yuri myself—I personally ship McQueen with Rice Shower.) And all this while Still in Love just dropped on the JP servers.

Regardless, this was the final straw. I’m going back to focusing on my own original work. Fuck this series, fuck the company, and I hope everyone involved gets the karma they deserve.

At the end of the day, I’m a creator first. My long-term goal has always been to introduce my own OCs and build my own universe, not stay chained to a series that treats its creators like this and drains us mentally. I hope you’ll stick around for me—for my work—rather than for this mess of a franchise.
