My advice would change depending on how much you want to enjoy yourself while getting the title vs how quickly you just want to get it over with no matter the cost.

WAR/DRK are really fucking good, but you have time management to learn. DPS jobs can all dumpster HoH, but then you have to learn survival tactics.

As long as your character can appear on the in-game player search function it will read your UID and is able to discern alts apart meaning it can condensed the number down by an account basis instead of a character basis. DRK has the best defensives
Any of these 3 are the best choice, and it really comes down to personal preference. I think DRK + Pot spam is the best but thats just me.

HoH's first 30 floors are really easy and go by fast, consider reset scumming til you get full petri + 3 magicite. Odin can oneshot bosses but I honestly don't think its worth it, all the bosses are easy and free floors is better.

Frailty is best used on Bosses to speed it up
Concealment is very strong for bypassing treasure rooms or using as a way to sniff out fake exits in big floors, you cannot trigger traps while concealed so if nothing happens on the exit, its a trap.

As a tank, Alternation is almost always worth it as fighting a mimic is no big deal for you, and arguably takes just as much time as any mob in high floors.

Always use Fortune before Storms or Magicite to try and refill pomanders
I generally try to find the exit room first before killing too many mobs, time management is the hardest part so going in pointless directions can cause you to wipe.

There are some good guides by floorset out there that can tell you which mobs to target/ how they aggro to avoid them. I just keep them up on a 2nd monitor or something.

Small zones, lack of mystery, and the endless droning of dialogue. I suppose it's no surprise they filled the game with dialogue - they were perpetually scared to let you play the game, in case you realised it was really quite dull. I've tried to get into FF14 3 times, and I've found myself giving up on it every time due to the monotony.

They gradually stripped back anything that made the game feel unique like subclasses, and they've reworked their class system about as much as WoW has at this point. It has no real identity to it. It's just gooner slop for Second Life refugees.

No? FF7 used the same NES and SNES spell names because of text limitations. Ice2, Bolt3, etc. Starting with FFVIII, every FF game began using the same suffixes as the Japanese versions, even remakes of the older games included the suffixes. Not every content in this game can be made to be enjoyed by everyone. There is no viable way for se to make cosmic fun for hardcore raiders for example.
That interview just shows 8.x will have less content compared to dt, with the content we will get maybe getting some extra tacked on difficulty setting. I predict they won't give us another cosmic and ultimate will be cut down to 1. PvP may stop getting updates as well along with limited jobs.
Maybe at best dungeons and AR will get extra difficulty setting that will replace chaotic and criterion but it will just be more damage and more punishment for failing mechs, not unique encounter.
They're cutting content to save costs because dt has a bigger budget yet lower revenue. The "content that can be enjoyed by everyone" is just an excuse.
