Both of these men have the same strengths and weaknesses.

>Solid direction (at least by video game standards)
>decent stealth gameplay although easy surpassed by competition like Splinter Cell
>decent world building
>subversion of expectation/false protagonist (TLOU2, MGS2, MGSV)
>Both are innovative in gameplay design but obviously ripped off their stories from other mediums

I think its based that druck just makes what he wants and is willing to swing for the fences and piss off fans, he's just a shit writer. Kojima might be nuts but his games usually have alot of really interesting and compelling characters and ideas. Its also worth noting that most of Kojima's games in spite of being very story heavy are very gamey and often get out of the players way. Even in mgs4 if you just skip the cutscenes you can enjoy the gameplay for what it is without too much hassle. Tlou on the other hand is constantly getting in your way and making you "play" through walking segments that are just unskippable cutscenes.
