The first one is worth playing, if only to get the gist of the story and world. 2 and 3 may as well be spin offs and not exist, so you wouldn't miss anything not playing them

Yeah. This game takes place at the same time as the first one and the two stories don't have a lot to do with each other aside from the fact that both groups of protagonists are fighting in the same war.

I wanted to love it but it's just not it chief
it's all too bland, either the story or the actual gameplay, it's a boring turn-based, a boring shooter and a boring VN with a god tier art direction, the characters, the tanks, the setting are all great
