Let me use this opportunity to bitch about losing several hours of gameplay to a bug where I can only assume Preston Garvey got stuck waiting on himself to finish affinity dialogue (the one that reattempts to romance you) and became completely silent / un-interact-able (outside of the settlement building UI). Closed off the Minutemen radiants / storyline entirely, and no combination of console commands fixed the issue. I got lost in the settlement rabbit hole (even playing vanilla), but I'm sick of the bugs in this game and am wrapping up my playthrough early. Bugs are somehow more annoying than previous games, where I usually encountered crashes (discrete failures) or stuttering (*typically* fixed by a restart). Bugs in this game are often small details that you might not even notice at first. Makes it annoying to fix issues when you finally catch on.

Same reason they have air conditioning and their citizens go on vacation when they're on break from medical university while the rest of the country is still eating squirrels found under rubble. A functional society, and no amount of larping /pol/tard football gear enthusiasts crying about paperwork existing will change that
