So it's been a few months is anyone still playing this?
Wanted to wait for mods to play the definitive version, like removed DEI shit and better looking female mods

I'm waiting for all the DLC to release before buying it. Sounds like the second half portion of the game is undercooked, so I'm hoping that one of the DLCS helps that a bit.

I'd rather play Skyblivion and mod that.

I think this game was disappointing to fans. Like Death Stranding 2 it had a lot of hype but then you play it and it's just kind of... whatever.

i already finished it. the dlc plans seem pretty mediocre. the blacksmith one sounds ok but it's one of those things that just should have been in the main game already along with having your own little hamlet again.

Was the gameplay that boring? It looked like KCD1 but improved and better graphics. Seemed more like the controversies left long time fans feeling betrayed which killed chances of KCD3 being a Witcher 3 style trilogy blockbuster hit.

Never finished the first one because I'm stuck on this main mission that has a duel and it's too fucking hard and frustrating to fight. So I'm just doing side missions and they're kinda boring.
It's world and structure is absolutely incredible though. I don't see why I'd get the second one if I still have stuff to do in the first one unless the second one is like leagues better with gameplay or something.

I took my time doing a ton of fun stuff before the wedding and really enjoyed it, then the forced terrible DEI missions ruined it for me, completely immersion destroying. I'd love a mod that removes them or just makes it possible to respond to them in the same way you can respond to everything else in the game. It's crazy that someone thought it was okay for every other mission to let you respond in any way you want except for these forced obviously current year inspired things that come out of nowhere after the half way point.

In almost any other RPG with a whodunit mission you can make a bad choice or purposefully fail the mission or whatever other choice is logical, in this game if you don't find someone to blame other than the weird african who doesn't look anything like an arab at all, they hang YOU instead of him and you get a game over. I'm sure the fat dyke who wrote that was seal clapping for herself over it for weeks.
