I was never really good. Now I'm much worse than I used to be. And everybody that is playing is so much better than me. I cannot compete. So I just stopped playing.

I actually play but just win with wonky off meta characters that make my team seethe every single time. It’s not my fault our Ashe goes 5-17 every game and Sona wants to stand in one spot and farm creeps for 55 minutes until we lose because he’s mad or something. The game has the strangest players for sure and makes Dota 2s community look like Paragons

Because people were getting mad top would switch with mid/jungler. Riot is also very fucking quick nowadays to squish any "off meta" strategies like a bug if any of them show up

I got out of gold and while I was happy I realized it wasn't worth it at all. I probably could have gotten to diamond or something but all the rage and time spent was just a waste of time. I still like some things about the game like yordles, some champs, and watching streamers but I'm free and I'm ok with that. I even tried getting back on it after a year and it just wasn't any fun.

Oh yeah and I was sick of getting autofilled into roles I didn't want to play. I'd pick top and mid or bot and mid and I'd get jungle. Why don't they understand it yet that playing a game of league is already a commitment to sit there for at least a half hour. I WILL WAIT MORE THAN TWO OR THREE MINUTES IF IT MEANS I GET MY ROLE.

When the namesake lore finally got nuked. I was already on the fence when Karma got completely reworked, redrawn, and rewritten, but then everyone's profiles turned into short stories so I just left after that. I won't even watch Arcane.

the entire meta right now, more than ever, is based around being as disgusting as possible with your champion picks and builds. top's a range v ranged oneshot fest, jungle's focused on the most degenerate full clear/invade/duelist potentials, midlane is more meta slaved than ever, adc is ACTUALLY unplayable for the first time in 15 years since they're all carbon copies of each other except for samira, smolder and ezreal and support is more subhuman than top or jungle combined.
sanitizing the game has led to it either being a snoozefest where

so, it's no wonder why APC's are coming back with a vengeance and why vayne/varus/aurora/quinn/kayle are assraping everybody top. i can't even fucking play toplane anymore without any combination of dshield/rejuvbead/absorb life/fleet footwork/bloodline/revitalize/second wind/65hp if i want to play anything else that isn't yorick or mundo (already degenerate picks), and i can't engage or farm because i know the second i do the enemy ekko/diana/zed will instagib me while my trundle/ww/voli are 1/3 with one stolen kill going BOTRK into thornmail

I played it daily for hours. Got pretty good. Made Plat. Took a year hiatus. Came back. The average Silver scrub demolishes me. The skillcap had gotten too high and smurfs dominate the lower ranks. I'm astonished the game still survives with there being no viable entry point for newbies.

You should be grateful they change the meta on a monthly basis. If you want to know what its like to have devs who dont care then just play marvel rivals, legit the same characters have been op since release and it slowly ate away at the community

Unfun gameplay. One person can ruin the game and you lose 30-40 minutes.
Artists deliberately making non-sexy women along with the wave of K-pop boy band champs.
Nerfing skins to show less cleavage and skin.
Riot enforcing a strict meta.
Favourite champs stuck in unusable teir for years.

Hard promoting the gay ass meta past S3-4.
Honestly stopping people from buying more than 5 health pots in like s2 or 3 was completely retarded because it was an inherent problem with them creating resourceless champs.
Which now every champ is just enter a lane and brain dead spam your skills.
There's no strategy outplay to satisfy retarded Koreans who just wanna run at each other like retarded apes and try to skill gap one another.
