I can't speak for all servers, but I've played a bit on Rain, and they have a launcher that downloads and installs everything for you nowadays.

Frontier doesn't need a classic server. It needs a "Remove Raviente" server

yes but thats end game at the end of its life this is the start of the very first few seasons of the game so its like you playing frontier for the first while they build and eventually add the rest
