Spot on
The realism aspects are what's actually enjoyable (instant ttk, different classes fulfilling different roles, no ADHD shit, constant tension from navigating large maps, real feeling of "monkey together stronk" during key pushes) but too much milsim LARPing for the sake of muh realism pushes the game into frustrating territory

I think the concept is neat: a faction is divided into functionally distinct squads that are only meant to loosely cooperate and each one acts according to the commander's orders (the only one who is meant to have a full view of the battle)
In practice, unless you have a full server of ultra-sweaty clanmates, people will do whatever they want because shooting at dudes is more fun than sitting in the bushes for 20 minutes "in case the enemy tries this flank"
This is further exacerbated by the fact that a single competent tank/artillery squad can effectively kneecap an entire team on its own, and you end up with a very frustrating experience for your average rifleman who just happens to be on the wrong side of the barbed wire (which is really realistic if you think about it, but I wouldn't call it fun)
