The majority of the game catalogue for Nintendo Wii is shovelware (not joking).

Play Sunshine and Wii Sports.

Almost every game worth playing got a superior re-release.
I can't think of a single reason to have a wii now other than to play GC games on it.
Emulate Mario galaxy 2 for the bing bing wahoo fun, and then you can forget the wii.

It gets a shitload of hate, because it has cheesy writing and a lack of content. It isn't a full-scale Tales game.
It has a monster catching/training system which is clearly shoehorned in to try filling in the gaps, but you can safely ignore it.
With that in mind, if you really enjoyed Symphonia, it's worth playing just to expand on that world a bit. If you have a jailbroken ps3, get the remaster. Otherwise use dolphin.

Doesn't it have all the characters from the first game and take place in the same world? I heard people hated it for butchering the original cast.
