Deadlock is just a regular MOBA too. Adding the Z-axis doesn't add anything. Except now because its 3rd person, all of the strategy that you could do in a top-down MOBA is non-existent or watered down.
Its not even a "shooter game" its just a badly designed MOBA.

Only character I LIKED was the trash can robot who sucked up bullets with a big vacuum and converted them into trash bombs that instagib people when you toss them
Rocket launcher girl was tolerable too, most of the rest were forgettable
Anyhoo Deadlock is better in just about every way

The same goes for every hero shooter. Yet developers only settle for bottom of the barrel competitive multiplayer genres which, if not dead on arrival, worsens itself until it doesn't resemble its 1.0 release in quality.
Is TF2 the only exception to this fate?

yea probably i think it was a mistake to release the game that early, i played when it was available and stopped until the latest update a few days ago
to me the only solution to not have it dead soon is to keep pumping update, but until when ? not sure. that said i do think the game has really fun mechanic that are pretty unique, the last hero they release door man has very fun ability

Team fights feels longer for some reason
Laning phase is terrible
Too many jungle creeps on the map
Everywhere is a fucking corner or wall
The list goes on to why the game is a massive downgrade from the last map

What improved is the items are great now that's it

The movement system will kill off the game. Its extremely sweaty and adhd. I was enjoying the game until I started encountering "people" on the enemy team started wall jumping and flying and sliding all over the map with unlimited stamina

So I was at the park the other day and I saw a dog and the dog was called Pete and he was a large dog and the dog was near another dog this dog was slightly smaller than the first dog but still I considered it a large dog in comparison to other dogs that I had seen previously to this dog anyway the park like I said had several fountains which the dog or dogs were attracted to presumably because dogs need water to survive these fountains were larger than the dogs but I would not consider them large fountains as I have seen larger fountains in larger parks and larger still fountains interestingly in smaller parks
