Replaying the Ace Combat series, but in a weird order I did 5 first, then Zero, then X, now on 4, after that will come 6, then 7, then I might finally try 3JP
It will probably soon be time for another TW3 replay too, but Silksong has priority over everything when it launches

I recently finished my yearly replay of Half-Life and the expansions. As far as I'm concerned, Half-Life already is a trilogy.

Replaying the god of war games as every now and then I get a mythology obsession and like to consume all media related to it. I like the games but I do miss how cinematic and over the top the greek games were. The scale of everything was impressive. The norse ones are fine, they just feel muted in comparisons

I haven't played Skyrim since it's release. With the survival mod, I'm actually enjoying Skyrim for the first time.

Noticing a lot of changes, first time I played, there wasn't even an imperial route at the beginning.

Gonna play some Gears Reloaded with my brother today when it releases.

My thoughts on Crysis is that the and the physics must have been really ahead of its time.

I think that overall it looks like a late PS3/early PS4 game.

The vegetation, physics, and lighting carry the graphics. I would describe them as early PS4.

I played W1 and W2 in anticipation of Witcher 3 releasing so that I would have the perfect save file to continue from.

I never even finished W3. I liked the Gwent quests though but it was such a slog to get through. Although you already noticed a significant drop from W1 cool time travel story to W2 retarded elf guerilla terrorist story.

I'm also not a contrarian. I don't care to have mainstream opinions. Zelda ocarina of time is my fav game for example. Just that Witcher 3 is legitimately the weakest entry and also the first to start this new shitty open world trend. I didn't play any of the other newer open world titles either.

I finished Skyrim for the first time ever completing a TES main quest this morning. I played on Legendary and it was fun trying to find out how to succeed but got fairly boring once I OP'd myself and started fast traveling and rushing through. Overall 6.5/10, it's alright, can't play pure destruction on Legendary. Now I'm playing Titanfall 2 campaign if that counts, it's pretty fun

I replayed dead rising recently (not the remake) I did a perfect run from the start in spite of not having played the game in 20 years already. I remember thinking the game was hard when it came out. Made me realize that skill ceiling has genuinely raised over time due to fromsoft.

I am also replayed final fantasy 10 now and man there was so much soul in the past. It makes me realize Expedition 33 isn't special. It's just a return to form of how all JRPGs used to be in the past

Witcher 1 has abysmal gameplay, looks ugly and the presentation is shit, all of this matters

Witcher 2 has somehow even worse combat than 1, has extremely clunky controls, looks ugly as fuck, even uglier than 1 and has shit side quests (series staple)

Witcher 3 is the best of the bunch, while its main story is less complex than 1 and 2, everything else is an upgrade, presentation is at its best, controls the best, gameplay is good, has the best minigame, has 2 expansions top tier, has the best music and characters, and ofcourse the best side quests.

There is simply no way around it, you can't win this debate
