I give it a 5/10. Looks good but the plot doesn't deliver enough - I use the resonance cascade as an example. So imagine in half life 1 you don't see the cascade happen and everyone you talk to mentions THE BIG EVENT but ever describes what it is, just that BIG EVENT happened and now shit is fucked. Beyond hanwell doesn't give enough explanation imo (and I don't mean explaining everything to ruin the mystery, but simply not enough to hook the player) so ultimately why you are doing what you are doing and why shit is fucked is not addressed enough.

Atmosphere is top notch but that isn't enough to carry the game.
