It's probably the pre-order/deluxe edition shit I care absolutely the least about since I buy most games on sale anyway, if people want to pay extra to play a bit early its no skin off my back, much rather have that then when devs literally cuck you out of content with pre-order bonuses you can never get later

It depends. If it's a game that's good then it's annoying, but if it's a bad game, it lets people figure out it's shit and contributes to flopkino.

In singleplayer games you can get spoiled easily and in multiplayer games you have to play catch up to people already playing for 3 days straight. in both cases its aids.
