Is there a game with a more annoying community? Helldivers has been around for a little over a year but I'm fucking tired of hearing about it all the time
It's annoying to hear about le democracy all the time when the game itself is fucking falling apart because of incompetent developers

It still has over a 100k concurrent players on Steam alone, if that is "falling apart" according to your definition, you have brain damage.
This is a small development team who got caught by surprise by the success of the game, under these circumstances I think they have been doing quite well.

i play the game. ive never interacted with the community except in game chat.

Falling apart as it doesn't work. Each patch adds more bugs than it fixes and most have no reason to exist at all. The last time I played they broke the reload on half of the guns despite the fact that they didn't change these guns at all. They also don't even think about compressing the game so it's 130gb now and it's only growing with each update. It was about 80gb when I bought it, it just won't work if they plan to update the game in the long run

No, completing the main objective did that, patrol spawns only increased as the timer ticked down. It's why you took out all the side objectives since that didn't affect the patrol spawn.

I play it on and off every few months. It's a good game when the technical issues aren't too bad. Spawn mechanics have always been retarded though, and destroying outposts increases the base rate of patrol spawns across the entire map. That's simply how it works.
