This isn't true at all. Its gameplay has always been solid and I still consider it the best trilogy in its genre at least for third person shooters. Its what anons itt are saying. Its Gears 1, yet again. What they should have did here was a remake instead and brought all of the improvements from later games into the gameplay of this one. And also don't fuck up the atmosphere and artstyle of the original. These Microsoft monkeys can't do anything right.

Uncharted is absolute garbage next to Gears.

3 had some great moments but kind of falls apart. 2 had the gut punch of Doms wife, the set up of the sires at the lab in the mountains and a ton of story hooks they retconned away or pretended never happened in 3 to turn into a much more generic good vs evil kill the queen to kill the hive horseshit.

They should have just stuck with "the cog were experimenting on children and made the locust and tried to cover it up with emulsion sickness but oops turns out emulsion sickness was actually real and far worse and the two end up combined."
