Only one month left for the release of the next Atelier game. It's old news at this point but the game will have a MSRP of $60 instead of $70 like Atelier Yumia on PS5...at least's there's that.

The new game has Lara Trockel, the fanservice in Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist and the White Guardian doesn't go beyond revealing outfits, jiggle physics and a possible photo mode but it's there. I won't deny that if one wants panties, recent games developed by Gust leave something to be desired, even the most recent Neptunia games show panties (Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution for example, which came out today on Steam).

My first Atelier game was Annie on DS like 20 years ago and in hindsight it's a very female-oriented one. Annie doesn't want to work and the goal is to marry the rich Prince to save her from such a fate. I related to the NEET desire. But I now also recognize the cliche of female-oriented stories where the protagonist is plain and unremarkable (pointed out so often that it even gets annoying) yet manages to succeed and perhaps find success with different men.
I never got any of the good endings so I don't know if she does have a reverse harem or marriage ending. Fuck that game was hard.

They already sold all non-gaming investments, shut down their cloud Genshin thing, cancelled multiple upcoming games and ended most of their creator programs. The only new games they have in the pipeline are Animal Crossing and Auto Chess aka bottom of the barrel shovelware
