Turn this option on.
This will give you new scaled resolutions for your monitor.
Change your 4K screen res to one of the new resolutions you see, like 1836p or 1662p. It should look a lot better than just raw 1440p. The scaling resolution version of 1440p should be looking better anyway
Then go ingame, make sure it's using one of these scaled resolutions (borderless should also work) use medium settings and then use DLSS performance.

I don't have the game but I'm sure you can get 60fps with decent graphics using this trick.

Not op, but I bought my 4K oled display while owning a 1060 once. Never regretted it. It ran indies at 4K120 just fine and it's a thousand times better than bottlenecking yourself with a poorfag screen.

With a 3060ti I could run UE5 games at scaled 1800p and Dlss just fine too. Consoles are doing the exact same trick but with even lower base resolutions. This MGS version runs at 720p on PS5 for fuck sake, the 3060ti can absolutely get better DLSS final quality starting at 1080p.
Now I have a 5070ti though and it's nice but I'm fairly sure the 3060ti can handle MGS Demake at console tier ""4K""

Following my own post here but oof looking at videos yeah this is less optimized than I expected. The inflation is real.
I would try Dlss perf at 1662p and downgrade DLSS to preset E. DLSS3 is way faster than DLSS4 and at performance level it looks a bit better in motion, in exchange for less sharpness overall.
