longing makes the heart grow fonder. Try a new hobby, go on a walk and sightsee an area of your town you haven't visited in a while, make a mini-garden and put in a few plants, go hang out with some friends, go volunteer at your local soup kitchen/goodwill, etc. There are plenty of things you can do to fill the time and gain a measure of fulfillment
I don't know if it's the right time to start a game. I could launch Warband and maybe I get bored of it in a few hours, maybe I throw 500 hours in it and get tired for Silksong. I don't think I have a short game in my backlog for the next week.
Abiotic factor with the bros tonight.
One night doing something with wife.
One night probably watching house while playing Stacklands on the deck.
Poe2 Friday and onward.
I'm set.
I'll actually be visiting my friends on next thursday to sunday. We all meet up in ohio then hang out for the weekend and go for roller coasters. We call it mumblecon, since we all mostly met up in the TF2 days and hung out in mumble.
Over half of us were extremely excited for silksong. I know 2 of us are going to bring our decks to play it at least a little.

Damn, actually based recommendation. I feel like people should go play the original Tower of the Sorcerer if they've never tried a magic tower game before though

I only played it a bit but it already feels harder than the first one so you probably want to play 1 first. I've seen it already introduced two mechanics I hadn't seen before. But I don't think there's anything wrong with starting with 2.

I found gacha games were great to get me through through the times. They gave me something to look forward to semi-regularly and a way to interact and engage with the community. Maybe try that?
