It took Rockstar of David almost 15 years to port RDR out of the mess that is PS3.
Imagine how long it will take for fucking Konami.

Worse. MGS4 has licensed content and PS3-specific stuff. They have to dig in and remove the Assassin's Creed outfit, the iPod, Playboys, the Triumph motorcycles, Apple Macs, Sony Ericssons, the Dualshock 3 controller Snake uses, the Psycho Mantis cutscenes, the PS3 in Sunny's room etc. I'm no expert but I would hazard a guess it's no cake walk removing and changing all this stuff.
