Great fun, me and my friend have been playing it on the weekends after tennis. Great homage to all the previous games. I wish some characters would be included as future DLC, but it looks like SNK is done with that for now.

It's a pretty messed up mash up of 4, VSP, and 6, and it's development followed the typical SNK status quo of predatory fomo, to the point of introducing completely game changing mechanics multiple years into the game's life span. Not a good game. SNK sucks ass.
