Something something bleeding heart but also just last chapter or something in Rausten L'arachel told her that only one person had ever shook off the Demon King which was the founder of Rausten whose name I forget. Latona? Anyway even though L'arachel tells her this that also might lead someone to conclude "so you're saying it's not impossible, right?!" But also she's just desperate to latch onto any hope that her friend might still be salvageable.
