Because it turns out Oblivion's not that great, which is why not only Skyrim but also Morrowind, a game that came out *before it*, have far longer lifespans. YouTubers milked the UE5 remaster for a couple weeks then people dropped the thing entirely because at its core, Oblivion is still Oblivion.

My 2600 mod Skyrim sometimes crashes after 5 minutes of playing it. It also takes 10 minutes to start up from the moment I double-click on the .exe.
