No. They were detailed but even back then you could see the way characters were rendered was stylized. They have a more plasticy figurine-like quality to them where other games attempting realistic humans on ps2 where more muddy due to textures.

I do re-watch things sometimes, but it's usually to watch it with someone who hasn't seen it yet. I think it's a problem with how well I remember things. For instance, I did just re-watch and enjoy a movie I hadn't seen in nearly twenty years, but I was able to say a lot of the dialogue as the movie was playing. And there are even certain rare things I re-watch by myself on a bit of a schedule, but the more I watch/play something the less I can enjoy revisiting it so I try to limit it.
