I don't understand why people who complain about CoD being the same shit every year is lauding BF6 and hating on BO7.
BF6 is quite literally the bog standard modern military shooter with M4's and AK's set on the desert. They've been making this game for over 15 fucking years now. This is BF3/BF4 but with a new UI. Isn't this what people are tired of?
BO7 is set in the future, has a coop campaign, advanced movement, crazy missions, but somehow it's "creatively bankrupt" when compared to the generic as fuck BF6.
Why are normieniggercattle like this?

Now we have a soulless bf-cod hybrid after everyone nitpicked every little detail about 2042
It made me replay warzone, way better gameplay, cod normies are fucked in the head, now I'm looking forward to BO7, might as well play the real thing than the knockoff, getting tbagged by nicki minaj doesnt sound so bad anyway

From a BFag perspective, the last good BF was 10 years ago, with 4, after several patches that'd fix tickrate, netcode and whatnot. As a shooter, BF is very unique in the sense that you have vehicles+infantry and no other game gets that hybrid thing right, not even Squad, meaning that we only get to feel the """BF experience""" once every n years, WHEN Dice gets it right (imo 1 sucked, 5 sucked and 2042 sucked). Now, I'm not totally convinced this game is not gonna suck also, and I think people shouldn't hype a game up so much.
COD is something you experience every year, if one ends up being bad, the next one may be good, and to your luck as a COD kid, it's just around the corner (next year).

I have played all CODs from the MW19 to BO6 so that's 6 years of mostly the same shit. I didn't bother with other shooters cause I was addicted to grinding stuff in COD. I gave the BF6 beta a chance and it felt fresh to me, my last BF was 3. Maybe other people had the same experience since these past years COD was the dominant series. I will probably still play WZ from time to time, but I don't see myself buying another COD game in the next years.

They haven't made another Battlefield 4 for 11 years just to correct you. BF1 wasn't the same, BF V wasn't. BF 2042 wasn't. It's been that long of a gap since it went back to the supposed direction of 4. Hardline was a different game concept entirely. So yes, a pretty big long gap. I couldn't run the beta without crashing so i have no idea if the claims of going back to these roots are true.
