Iβll start with Plants vs Zombies. I think it nicely bridges the gap between Summer and Halloween. I also like to start the spooky season with something light before I get to actual horror.
I just learned that PvZ2 was never released on Steam and is just a mobile game. What were they thinking? And apparently the series became P2W? Whatever, at least the first one is still there.

I got filtered by Kuon last year so I'm determined to try again. After that finish Fatal Frame 1 until Silent Hill F and Cronos come out.

Why arenβt any of the original Resident Evils (pre-4) or Silent Hills on Steam? I hate when they only put out the remakes/remasters.

September is not October. But i have Mario and the Patch Makers Workshop, Mario: Calling of Cuthullu, another Castlevania, and Demons Crest lined up.
Also you should check out HorrorVale. I like that game a lot.

Visage is my favourite so far. I liked it more than the amnesia and outlast games. It's similar to those but with a bit more puzzles and less running away from things. And I liked the modern house setting instead of the asylum and underground tunnel stuff a lot of horror games use.

Correct, itβs the first half of the spooky season, whereas October is the second half. Summer ends on August 31.

I'm probably just going to do my normal thing of playing a fucking ton of RPGs. I'm tempted to pick up Bloodlines 2 even though there's no way it can compete with the original, but it might be like DXHR where it's not as good as the original but still a good game
