The game has so many baffling design choices like the fact you can't fast travel from the get go. The strict missions where if I don't go exactly where the game wants me it fails me. And so many other things. It's a shame man I was really enjoying myself after the first 2 hours but problems like that eventually turned me away

For me is having to dodge a 100 lightning bolts and chocobo running in FFX. I hate mandatory busywork and no fun side quests. I´m also not a fan of having to get gud at gold saucer basketball in FF VII (don´t get me wrong, i do it since it´s still the fastest way unless one waits until late game and does everything through chocobo running or just using money but it´s still a pain)
