*The* biggest issue with the Switch retro controllers nobody is talking about

I finally did some tests today, and it’s instantly apparent on my Switch 2 - all of the retro controllers for Switch Online are laggy as absolute fuck, I have no way to measure it directly but it must be at LEAST 100ms; it makes every input feel spongy and unsatisfying and it’s why I hated playing this shit to begin with.
The other day, on a whim, I fired up the NES Classics using a wireless Switch 2 Pro controller and was like: other than the buttons not being configurable, this doesn’t feel bad at all? Like, I’m enjoying this.
So I did some side by side tests today and there’s no question that the Switch 1 controllers feel like ass compared to the new Pro 2 controller. It’s a serious issue because it makes those fucking things basically useless for the entire purpose they exist for.
Just a PSA for the rest of you. And yes, this alone is why the Switch 2 Pro controller is worth the retard tax. I’m sure this applies across the board and is part of the reason why the Switch 2 *feels* so much better to play, even if faggots can’t quite perceive why they think that
