Black Ops 7 hate isn't the "futuristic shooter" fatigue. It's "CODslop" fatigue. What's the point of all these improvements when SBMM will make every match a sweaty tournament? Combine that with shitty 20hz servers, awful hitreg, packet bursting every 2 seconds, tons of cheaters in every match, cartoon collabs making the game look like a complete joke etc.

You want to play a competitive game, but don't want proper competition? I've never understood the complaints against Skill Based Matchmaking, nor has it ever affected my enjoyment of a competitive shooter.

COD was supposed to be a casual game not competitive. SBMM isn't exclusive to ranked in COD unlike other games.
