I just got to the mutated Margaret fight and her bursting through the window scared me shitless. Whoever the little girl is must be later in the game.
Maybe I'll get to it next month cause I spend most of my time in safe rooms and pause screens.

Its really only that first chunk of the game until the garage thats scary, then it becomes more of an action/puzzle game until you get you marg's section. And she's not even that scary until she bugs out.

I really liked the ship section, somehow it feels so well designed like an oldschool survival horror game.

I disagree. This game is exceptionally good at keeping you nervous, even going back to rooms I've been before keeps me on edge.
I went down the ladder in the old house after you *kill* Margaret the first time, and when the 4 legged thing charged at you I noped the fuck out.
I also thought I was well stocked for the mutated Margaret fight and died.
It's definitely a 10/10 but I see why they made Re8 less scary. I can hardly beat this game.

I really wish they would have just gone in a supernatural direction and away from all the umbrella stuff. The demo was so good with the ghost girl and mannequin finger puzzle. RE Boss final forms are incredibly stupid looking too. Being chased around the house was fun but once you get machine guns and stuff it's kind of lame
