Fun crossover & the new update looks really interesting. Glad to know all the leaks have been coming true from last year. Really looking forward to the cyborg auxiliary for the bots & the rebels as the 4th faction.

BUT my autism must be acting up cause I can’t will myself to play it even with how hype it is.

Unlocking all those ship modules took fuxking forever & now that I’ve reached the sample cap all I keep thinking about is how much resources & time I’m wasting when I could be waiting till the T6/new upgrades drop.

Until this is resolved only time I’m dropping back in is for my welfare medals or to grind blues.

It was literally the basic Helgan set, and one of the best damage reduction abilities. And that's especially true since they finally made armor values mean something.

The assault rifle is basically just a cooler adjudicator which is fine for an assault rifle. assault rifles in Helldivers 2 are simply worse than all your alternatives though. It's really fun in first-person mode.

The shotgun is actually very good.

SMG is trash

Pistol is a better Peacemaker, which means it is marginally better than trash.

Armor passives are weird. No leg injuries is good, point of interest increase is just 3 meters, and the stealth stuff is actually different from the normal scout stealth since it reduces sound primarily more than visual. Some enemies actually initially find you by sound instead of vision.

I wish Halo and Warhammer made modern games where you just play as a fucking human and kill millions of xenos.
Vermintide/Darktide was the only first step in the right direction, and the mod scene for Halo MCC made a lot of neat firefight stuff. But whoever owns these franchises does not want to take gameplay risks at all and just want to stick to a safe 6 hour singleplayer story experience.

The assault rifle has medium pen like the adjudicator, 2 more bullets, better ergonomics, and a bit less damage per round. It's basically the same gun.

For the shotgun, capacity doesn't really matter when you can slam fire the pump varieties. The damage output and stun is good. The slugger and halt are the only shotguns with medium pen and they're fine. Everyone still uses the cookout and incendiary breaker on bugs.

If you want to do ODST cosplay and are fine with grinding 1500 super credits for a warbond with no super credits in it, go for it.

The weapons are okay-ish on average. The shotgun is the only standout past the gee-whiz factor of the crossover. If you like the adjudicator but want a cooler looking version of it with a cool first-person mode that's also fine.

They've never updated a warbond with new stuff. If they do more Halo stuff it'll be in another warbond. The weapons in the warbond might see their numbers adjusted along with other weapons in balance passes. Some of the killzone weapons got buffs after release in overall balance passes.

Also, the Killzone and Halo stuff cannot be modded. I don't think any of them really need mods but just stating that if it wasn't obvious.

The secret to grinding SC is to run illuminate 10s on regular planets (not super cities) instead of farming low-level missions. Illuminate planets spawn urban centers which tend to have a lot of downed probes to loot and they're easy to traverse. Quicker than low-level bug missions and definitely better with friends.

I'll give you that but the AR is far more iconic than any of the other Halo weapons so they kinda had to. Honestly the easiest fix to my issues with the gun is to actually change nothing of its stats or spare ammo except to give it the Halo Combat Evolved magazine size. Going from 32 to 60 bullets would make me much happier since doing 80 damage is fuck-all. I have no reason to take it over the reprimand's 125 damage and 25 magazine size. And both the reprimand and the AR deal medium pen damage too so there's no contest outside of cool factor.

Deluxe edition never gave you 1000SC, it gave you specifically the Steel Veterans warbond. They replaced it with a token so that now you can get any non-collab Warbond you want instead.

The only people who got 1000 SC were those who unlocked the Steel Veterans warbond first and then upgraded to deluxe, effectively getting a refund of the 1000 SC they already spent.

Have almost 1k SC saved up. Do I go for Control Group for easier SC solo farms or for Freedom's Flame the one I actually want? Warp pack is the only thing I'm interested in from Control Group but it seems pretty essential.

I think the weapons were pretty disappointing. The AR feels great and I love that they used the Halo 3 version of it. They even made the AR not be a weak PoS like it is in Halo - but the problem is that it doesn't really do what the default Liberator can't already do and it's not upgradeable.
