I genuinely believe the next Mass Effect will determine whether they keep going or are absorbed into another part of EA. The next ME is the last project they've had on the horizon people have been waiting for. With how poor Veilguard did and them shuttering Anthem, I'd imagine EA is letting them get one last project out only because it was already in development.
If that fails, and it likely will, I can't see them lasting for another release.

We have reached a point where it doesn't matter if they die or not, their games are some of the worse slop being produced in the industry, nobody cares, this is arguably worse than getting shut down.
