Is there any way, through political force, that video games can be made great again?
TV is currently being cleaned of degeneracy and now it reflects actual American values. TV now has real speech unlike how it was before.

Lmao imagine thinking wanting quality control in games = polcel politics. Games used to be art, now it’s all TikTok-core zoomer slop with diversity checklists and gacha mechanics. I don’t care if it's made by a blue-haired dev or a MAGA chud, just make shit that isn’t focus-tested to death.

You just know some morbidly obese troon that lives in some share house pig sty or their exasperated parents house made this thread. He probably figured that it would be a good opportunity for a solo raid.

Censorship is, in fact, bad for creative endeavors, video games included. Every video game worth two shits was made in a liberal democracy with free speech. If you got what you wanted video games would either be banned entirely as a form of degenerate art or reduced into sterile state propaganda.

Tetris was made when Gorbachev was trying to liberalize the Soviet Union through glasnost, and even then Pajitnov made it a point to get the fuck out as soon as he could and start doing Tetris in America.

The government program to negate censorship is called "doing nothing." Don't regulate speech.

Yes but you'll complain about hurdles on the way to greatness

The government is not the only party that can censor speech.

No, but they're the only party that can legally kill you if they don't like you. You don't want them regulating your speech.
