Well we don't want big business to have a bigger grip on entertainment than they have over hardware. Creativity is the glue that makes big projects work across all financial demographics. When the big corporations can effectively censor and depoliticize any communities they see fit, they can also sabotage any messages they think are imposing. If that were to happen, creativity as we know it would cease to exist, vanish, simply because it's inconvenient for a game to have a creative gene, as opposed to it having a financial gain.

There's no logic to Nvidia scrapping GPUs, telling everyone with libraries of thousands of games to fuck themselves as there's nothing to play them on anymore, and you have to use their miniscule library streaming with a worse experience.
GPUs are free money since the markup is insane even on the low end stuff, and they hold a dominant market share in that. They'll just throw it away for a more expensive model of running the hardware for you so they can pay for power and bandwidth.
