Fallout 3 has all the same problems as Fallout 4 but none of its good features

as someone who hated FO4 until this year and only enjoyed it because of mods in spite of the vanilla content, it's okay. Anyone who defends the writing, story, quests, or worldbuilding is a retard. But the looter shooter exploration and base building gameplay is fine, even fun with mods.

i don't like what they did with power armor. I haven't played fallout 4 much, i've started like 2 games and i haven't even made it to the first town, diamond city.
but they give you a suit of power armor and a minigun in the tutorial and you kill a deathclaw. it just feels weird to me, like as if i was reading a book and skipped to the end to find out what happens.
also i dont like the story. the whole baby shaun thing, i don't care. i just want to be a guy surviving in the wasteland

This is absolutely not true at all for NV, and this comes from someone who played NV, enjoyed it, but it isn't one of my favorites. People to this very day, FIFTEEN (15) years later STILL discuss the factions like House, Legion, NCR etc. Threads discussing this on this very board still hit bump limit regularly. That would not be the case if the game was terribly written. Nobody talks about anything related to FO3, FO4, Skyrim or Starfield, unless it's about how bad everything is.

Yeah I plan on it later. Downloaded that Magnum Opus modlist which seems pretty alright. Shame it's not built for survival mode in mind, though.

I mean you could simplify every single story ever told like this. The matter of the fact is that people discussing NV's stories to this very day remains true. This is not the case for Fallout 3 and 4

I've experienced everything the game has to offer, I shan't be reinstalling it again.
