I don't find her to be a particularly compelling character. Over time I've grown to see her as sort of entertaining, but she doesn't resonate with me on any deep level. To be frank, the first time I encountered her in chapter 1, I though to myself "oh, Toby Fox has a thing for very masculine women". There was Undyne in Undertale, and now you have Susie in Deltarune. Might be a coincidence, but honestly idk. Maybe he just really liked Kumatora in Mother 3.

She's a tomboy shonen protaganist that was in incubation until her first dark world started to crack the tank and every chapter afterwards cracking it even more until it was fully unleashed in Chapter 4.
She's basically Deltarune's actual MC, while us puppeting Kris around is what actually allows her to go places and fight.
