i love the dave mirra games. the trick system lets you do some crazy shit, but practically none of the level goals makes use of its. its' all shit like "knock down 3 ladders". i remember the airport level in 2 makes you do a tailwhip-backflip off a parking garabge??, and that's probably the coolest goal in the series

I'm 36, been skateboard almost daily since I was 7. Never really got into THPS games. Everyone one I skated with was into the bohemian/gutterpunk side of things. Which means I have zero emotional attachment to the trends of that era. That said. I'm older now, just getting into them. Silly games with an unrealistic depiction of skate scenes but I'm having fun, i get the appeal.
