why is Sorasaki Hina so divisive amongst blue archive fans? I've never seen a character character have this many lovers and haters at once. Why is everyone absolutely in love with her or hates her guts

If you saw hate it's probably because of her popularity, and yeah I get it: she's a good character but there are other good characters in BA

She's one of the most popular characters and gets priority in content.
She's also one of the strongest and most important characters lore-wise.
Pretty usual downward spiral of popularity > mary-sue accusations > divisive. Same applies to Mika and Hoshino.

She is surrounded by jobbers so any time that the prefect team is written into the story it relies on Hina to swoop in and save the day and that gets tiring.
The recent event with Juri had an opportunity for Iori or Ako to claim some autonomy but things get saved by Hina getting on the phone to delegate permission to (you) instead of her subordinates.
