I'm serious. Decades ago devs would find ways to make games run better on the hardware available to them. Nowadays devs just cry and make shit no one can run.

I remember hearing a story about the original Crash Bandicoot devs realising they could improve loading times by forcing the game data to be as close to the centre of the disc as possible. Other devs were convinced they were being given better dev kits or something to get the load times they were getting.

You buy it as a Switch Pro. If it were named the Switch Pro it would have sold just as many copies.
Naming it switch 2 is disingenuous and is really only done so they can sell performance upgrade expansions to existing games, instead of just making them higher-performance on the new console for free like everyone else including Nintendo used to do. This is probably why it's not called the Switch Pro.

That can be seen as a good or bad thing depending on what you're looking for of course.
