Snoy is charging $750 for a console with literally no games, but then has the audacity to charge and additional $70 for a disc drive and $30 for a stand.

the only reason consoles have better inital sales now is because they open to more and more countries. Switch release date was in 2017, and started selling consoles to China in 2019. It's a sinking market with a bit of make up to cover up the fact that people buy less and less

The first month was 1.6 million so it sold at least 400K this month. There is definitely a drop off and its probably why you can find one so easily now.

The real question is if it maintains this kind of momentum throughout its life cycle. I don't think it'll be a flop, but surpassing the Switch in sales is a tall order for the successor, and the ongoing recession will make it that much harder.

Honestly this although I'd say the range is 14-20 million. That's with taking into account how the GameCube did too. This is the absolute baseline so any number less than 14 million isn't going to happen.
