I'm using the cyclone 2, I love how the buttons and the analogs feel. Most responsive and smooth controller I've owned.
I'm waiting for an m30 to arrive. Been having some pain when I use my arcade stick, and I want to see how it feels on shmups.
Gave away a gulikit and an 8bitdo controller. The gulikit buttons didn't feel right, and the 8bitdo had a little bit of unresponsiveness on the right analog.

I think like 60€, a bit more with tax. At that time I had to import it through aliexpress because it wasn't sold in europe.
The vader 4 pro should cost a similar price right now.

When will Microshits admit there is no coherent argument for asymmetric sticks and they're only defending Microshart's outdated layout because they irrationally hate Sony for getting it right the first time?
Anonymous No.719175425

I don't mind either layout to be honest. The Sony dpad isn't my favourite either. Everything else about the dualsense is solid.

the only thing it's missing is gyro and analog triggers
if it has a good d-pad, the Steam Controller 2 will finally supercede it

>the dpad is nice to press
>face buttons are good, but there's nothing special about them
>the bumpers feel nice to press, but I wish there was a bit less travel to them, I also wish they were somewhere a bit higher, would make the controller more comfortable
>triggers are alright
>analog sticks feel nice and precise

I like it. At the start it would sometimes do a small clack when I was rolling over it, but it seems to have stopped with use.

If this comes out with the option to take AA batteries, I will worship Valve and be a dronie til the day I die. All I want is a controller with back buttons, gyro, and takes AAs.

more congruent mapping between stick directions and physical thumb movements, where forward and backward map to extending and retracting the thumb and sideways to rotating/tilting the thumb from its base
but of course this only works for the Wii U configuration

Anything from the ps5/series X gen whether whether 3rd party or not are fucking dogshit. 8bitdo is also ass with a garbage D-pad. You can't play any execution heavy fighters or characters from modern fighters on anything but the 4 I listed; hitbox and sticks are also the main option.

I've been watching these threads for a while since I was in the mood for a new controller and finally settled on buying a gamesir cyclone 2 and a gulikit es pro and I returned both. The former randomly disconnects anywhere from 2-7 times per hour for 5 seconds at a time even when wired and the former randomly gets "sticky inputs" where it behaves as though I'm holding an input for a few seconds. Totally unacceptable especially compared to my 1st generation 8bitdo which has never given me any sort of problem. So I got a second gen 8bitdo instead and look forward to having it work flawlessly.

Everyone in these threads is poor and/or brown. Literally just buy first party (or an 8bitdo I guess)
