There's two online Mii maker tools I know of, and both still exist.
Nintendo's official one requires a My Nintendo account and is a bit barebones, while the fanmade one with more poses and options fagged out and forces you to use Discord, but if you have an account for either or, you should be able to make and post Miis.

He was mostly known for his "side of salt" animations but he doesn't have the mental fortitude to handle criticism so he got fatigue and wanted to stop doing them but it turns out people really like the "let's talk about a game and hate on it a bit too" format(just look at how AVGN stood out from everyone else in his prime) so he reluctantly went back to doing it even though he doesn't really like it. His speedrunning series wasn't as popular as he wanted it to be and took too long to make because he's too focused on accuracy instead of making silly videos(see: Egoraptor's Awesome series and TerminalMontage's Something About series.)

As an artist if you're "forced" into doing content you don't like you're not going to make good content. He's also a massive numberfag and he's constantly hating himself because one of his animator friends had a breakout success while he got left behind. As a streamer he's kind of annoying because of his insecurities. Basically his lack of mental strength is fucking him over in multiple regards on multiple platforms.

The problem with the Mii system is that rather than being a universal avatar system that gets its data pulled on the fly, each game that uses Miis has to have all of the Mii data built into it for some reason, so updating the editor means it'd be incompatible with games made before unless Nintendo and any third party devs that were given the OK to use Miis updated every single game that used Miis. This is why the first Mii maker update didn't happen until the 3DS came out, why hair dye (Tomodachi Life) and eye/brow/glasses colors (Miitopia 3DS) were seclueded to those specific games. It's also kind of funny to look back on, how features like the favorite color beanie and baseball cap were customization options in the Wii era back when hats were not an option, but became dated fast once the 3DS allowed all hairstyles to wear hats.
That said, they had the perfect solution right in front of them with the Switch 2, yet decided not to update the Mii Maker there.

This was always so fucking stupid, just have the Mii data be available using NSO, people pay money for it for some fucking reason, and pull it off their avatar.
I mean it ended up good because it meant that the games that cared about Miis got to use better character creators unlike the abominations like Xbox Live Avatars, but the end result is that now, no one gets them unless they just put them in.

I'm guessing they just don't care anymore, it's not like people are going to not buy Nintendo games over it.

It's official, it was actually a bug in Pikmin Bloom where if you select the default dress kit and then remove the dress individually, your Mii will have a naked woman's body. The crotch area is unmodeled so people put on the inflatable inner tube to imply they're completely nude.
