Unironically though in terms of sheer graphical fidelity and polish, I'd say Rockstar, Naughty Dog, and Valve are top dogs. I'm not talking gameplay, story, or anything like that. I just mean in terms of details and cohesion.

No, TLOU 2 has quite little amount of cinematics, and a full playthrough on normal-high diff is around 30 hours. On grounded it can be a lot higher depending on skill. There's a decent amount of just walking and exploring but that's also gameplay. But the game has a ton of encounters and combat

What gameplay? That's not gameplay. That's fluff. That's "Technology" that people find great about a game. If the game is already great. Which TLoU2 is clearly not. It's pointless fluff made with countless man hours that could have been used refining the story into something that wasn't a pre-teen's idea of a revenge plot or working on shit that mattered. Like more actual gameplay segments, The fucking multiplayer, and/or not working on walk and talk sections.
All that webm shows me is they spent more money, effort, and time on the Icing for the cake made of feces.

I like the zombie mystery of Days Gone, but man the gameplay is the most cookie cutter third person over the shoulder dredge possible with all these half-assed systems tacked on like crafting, skill trees, camp favour, bike upgrades, and there's so little in each system that you wonder why bother with any of it at all. The combat and driving is arcadey and floaty, ranged weapons kick like a mule, consolified controls all over the place with automated shit and button holds, low effort TW3 detective shit
I don't understand how you people fucking do it, playing these copy + paste TPS games. Even something like Gothic 2 is leagues above anything pushed for modern consoles, the game is still just as jank shit as the first one, but the immersion and world building is on a whole different level, and it doesn't try to be some pretentious Netflix series.
